About Popular Patch

While serving in the Navy, Don Mcgrogan was drawn to military patches. He liked the history they represented, and their unique designs. Their weight and size made them the perfect memento a young sailor could collect and send back home.

He discovered one problem, however. It was difficult to find the ones he wanted!

He also wasn't the only one who struggled to find patches, so to solve this problem, he searched for a manufacturer to make the patches he and his friends wanted. It didn't take long for Don to build his reputation as the patch man.

After retiring as Senior Chief E8, Don turned his collecting into a small business. His love for patches and connecting with veterans continued on.

Now, three generations later, his grandson Josh stepped up to the helm to continue Don's legacy.

Popular Patch's mission is to provide veterans and loved ones with service patches, because they deserve the recognition of their hard work and sacrifice.

We hope to continue to be the world's largest provider of commemorative patches, and welcome you to join us on our journey.
